PBL

Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) is a whole school program that actively promotes positive behaviour.

It enables students to develop:

  • a clear understanding of required expectations
  • become responsible for their own behaviour
  • work together to create a positive, productive and harmonious learning community

This part of our school website is dedicated to providing information and resources that we use at Cootamundra Public School to encourage all students to be respectful, responsible learners.

Cootamundra Public School commenced PBL in 2014 and students continue to embrace our school expectations.

Students following the values associated with being Respectful, Responsible, Learners can collect our colour coded PBL tokens (Coota Cards) from staff in the playground or classroom

Each Friday there is a Coota Card draw where we have a chance to recognise and celebrate students who have followed our school expectations during the week.  Students are working towards whole school rewards for positive behaviour by trying to earn as many tokens as they can.

Below are some examples of how students can earn PBL tokens.
